Corey Jacobs is the proud owner and founder of Safety First Flagging LLC, a flagging company built on the principles of safety, integrity, hard work, and community. As the oldest of 12 siblings, he has always naturally stepped into the role of protector, provider, and mentor — qualities that continue to shape both his personal life and professional journey.
With years of experience in the industry, Corey understands the importance of creating safe work environments while also building meaningful opportunities for others. His passion goes far beyond traffic control and job site safety; he is deeply committed to creating a legacy that uplifts his family and community.
Throughout the years, he has helped several of his siblings gain employment within the field, inspiring them to pursue stability, growth, and purpose. His long-term vision for Safety First Flagging is to grow it into a successful family-run business that not only changes the trajectory of his own family, but also provides employment opportunities and hope to others seeking a better future.
Driven by faith, perseverance, and determination, Corey believes that with dedication and unity, generational poverty can be broken and transformed into generational success. Through Safety First Flagging, he is committed to leading with excellence, putting safety first, and proving that hard work and vision can create lasting impact for generations to come.

Charles Hite
WHY WE DO WHAT WE DO
Charles Hite is a dedicated entrepreneur and proud family man who values hard work, reliability, and community. Outside of work, Charles spends much of his time with his four children, supporting their growth and celebrating milestones, including proudly watching two of them begin their college journeys.
Before entering the traffic control industry, Charles built a career in trucking, gaining valuable experience as a Class A CDL driver. His years on the road helped shape his strong work ethic, discipline, and understanding of what it takes to keep operations running safely and efficiently. Through those experiences, he developed an appreciation for entrepreneurship and the importance of dependable service.
Seeking an opportunity to build something meaningful closer to home, Charles transitioned into road flagging, where he spent nearly a decade gaining firsthand industry experience. Working alongside Corey, the two recognized a growing need for professional, dependable, and safety-focused traffic control services in their community. Together, they helped establish a company committed to providing prudent, professional, and proficient flagging solutions while maintaining strong relationships with clients, crews, and the communities they serve.
Charles brings a practical, hands-on leadership style to the company, rooted in real-world experience, accountability, and a commitment to doing the job right.
Charles and Corey met as coworkers in a warehouse. They quickly realized their shared entrepreneurial spirit. From warehousing the duo moved into professional flagging.
